The NBA named Steve Nash (Pho) and Mike James (Tor) as Players of the
Week.  Nash averaged 21.3 points and 14.3 assists as Phoenix went 3-1.
James averaged 25.3 points including 13-21 3-pointers and 7 assists as
Toronto went 3-1.

Phoenix signed Josh Davis to a 10-day contract.

Philadelphia activated Louis Williams and placed Chris Webber on IL with a
lower back strain.

Washington activated Jared Jeffries and placed Chucky Atkins on IL due to
the birth of a child.

Chicago activated Tyson Chandler and placed Eddie Basden on IL.

Toronto activated Aaron Williams and placed Loren Woods on IL.
