TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, Chicago re-signed Eddy Curry to a 6 year,
$60 million contract with a player opt-out clause after the 4th year 
and then traded him and Antonio Davis to New York for Tim Thomas, 
Michael Sweetney, Jermaine Jackson, a conditional 2006 1st round draft 
pick (the better of the 2 New York has - their own and San Antonio's -
might also be some protection [top x protected] on the pick too, but I
couldn't find any details), a 2007 2nd round draft pick, a 2009 2nd 
round draft pick, and the option of exchanging 1st round draft picks 
with New York in 2007.

TRADE: Houston traded Mike James to Toronto for Rafer Alston.

Boston released Qyntel Woods.

Chicago signed Jannero Pargo to a 1 year, $875,000 contract.

Denver named Tim Grgurich as an assistant coach.

Portland signed Sam Clancy to a 1 year, non-guaranteed contract.

Seattle re-signed Reggie Evans to a 1 year, $895,248 contract.

Seattle released Omar Thomas.
