The NBA named Mike Bibby (Sac) and Paul Pierce (Bos) as Players of the
Week. Bibby averaged 24 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists as 
Sacramento went 4-0.   Pierce averaged 30.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 
6.4 assists as Boston went 3-1.

Chicago recalled Eddie Basden from the NBADL.

Denver signed Howard Eisley to a 2nd 10-day contract.

Seattle signed Noel Felix to a 2nd 10-day contract.

Atlanta signed James Lang to a 2nd 10-day contract.

Houston released Gerald Fitch.

New York activated Nate Robinson and placed Eddy Curry on IL with a
stomach virus.

Milwaukee activated Maurice Williams and placed Jermaine Jackson on IL.
