News from April 19.

The NBA named Carmelo Anthony (Den) had Vince Carter (NJ) as Players of
the Month for April.  Anthony averaged 28.9 points and 6.5 rebounds as
Denver went 10-1.  Carter averaged 29 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 6.4
assists as New Jersey went 7-2.

The NBA named Don Nelson (GS) and Lawrence Frank (NJ) as Coaches of the
Month for April.  Golden State went 8-1 and New Jersey went 7-2.

The NBA named Tarence Kinsey (Mem) and Shelden Williams (Atl) as Rookies
of the Month for April.  Kinsey averaged 18.8 points and 5 rebounds as
Memphis went 3-5.  Williams averaged 11.6 points and 10.6 rebounds as
Atlanta went 3-6.

Marcelus Kemp (junior, Nevada, guard) and Ramon Sessions (junior, Nevada,
guard) declared themselves eligible for the NBA draft.
