The NBA fined San Antonio $50,000 for failing to make their players
available to the media on Monday.  San Antonio had given the players the
day off.

Houston named Rick Adelman as head coach.

Toronto re-signed head coach Sam Mitchell to a 3 year contract with a team
option for a 4th year.

The NBA held the draft lottery, which determines the top 3 draft picks.  
Portland was the big winner as they won the lottery and will draft #1.  
Portland had the 6th worst record in 06-07.  Seattle, who had the 5th
worst record, will draft #2.  Atlanta was the other big winner as they
will draft #3 despite having the 4th worst record (and they would have had
to send the pick to Phoenix if it wasn't top 3).  Atlanta also gets
Indiana's #11 pick as that pick was only top 10 protected and Indiana did
not move up in the draft.  Memphis, Boston, and Milwaukee were the big
losers in the lottery as they had the 3 worst records in 06-07 and yet
all moved down 3 spots in the lottery.  The NBA draft is June 28.
