TRADE: Houston traded Juwan Howard to Minnesota for Mike James and Justin
Reed.

Tom Young (Was assistant) announced his retirement.

New Orleans named Charlie Parker as an assistant coach.

Toronto named Mike Evans as an assistant coach and announced that Alex
English and Jay Triano will return as assistants.

Tim Duncan (SA) had 12 points on 4-15 FG and 4-10 FT, 15 rebounds
including 5 offensive, and 6 turnovers.
Tony Parker (SA) had 24 points including 10-14 FG and 7 rebounds.
Manu Ginobili (SA) had 27 points including 8-11 FT and 5 rebounds.
Fabricio Oberto (SA) had 7 points and 5 rebounds.
LeBron James (Cle) had 24 points including 10-30 FG, 6 rebounds, 10
assists, and 6 turnovers.

Thus ends the 2006-07 NBA season.  As always, these daily news reports
will occur only when news occurs during the summer (except when I'm on
vacation [and it will be another long vacation this summer, but I hope 
to have online access every few days, so hopefully I won't fall too far
behind]).  The NBA draft is June 28.  The NBA free agency date is July 1
(though teams can not start signing (non-rookie) free agents for 2 
weeks).  The Olympic Qualifier (in Las Vegas) is August 22 - September 
2.  Training camps open the first week of October.
