Vince Carter (NJ) exercised his option to opt-out of his contract and,
thus, is an unrestricted free agent.

Cleveland extended qualifying offers to Sasha Pavlovic and Anderson
Varejao, making them restricted free agents.

July 1 is the free agency date - 06-07 contracts formally end.  Teams can
start negotiating with free agents, but can not sign free agents or make
trades until the July Moratorium ends (July 11) - draft picks and
undrafted rookies can be signed during that time frame.
