News from February 7.

The NBA announced the contestants for the Shooting Stars competition to
take placed February 16 in New Orleans.  The teams consists of a NBA 
player, a former NBA player, and a WNBA player.  It's a timed shooting 
contest.  The teams are: 
  Detroit: Chauncey Billups (Det), Bill Laimbeer, Swin Cash
  Chicago: Chris Duhon (Chi), B.J. Armstrong, Candice Dupree
  Phoenix: Amare Stoudemire (Pho), Eddie Johnson, Cappie Pondexter
  San Antonio: Tim Duncan (SA), David Robinson, Becky Hammon

Chicago released Viktor Khryapa after the two reached a buyout agreement.

Cleveland activated Shannon Brown and placed Drew Gooden on IL with a
groin injury.

Golden State activated Chris Webber and Austin Croshere and placed Patrick
O'Bryant and Brandan Wright on IL.

Shane Battier (Hou) had 15 points and 8 rebounds.
Yao Ming (Hou) had 22 points and 12 rebounds.
Rafer Alston (Hou) had 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 9 assists.
LeBron James (Cle) had 32 points including 6-11 FT, 7 rebounds, and 6
assists.
Larry Hughes (Cle) had 13 points.
Hou out-rebounded Cle 55-35 including 17-7 offensive.

Baron Davis (GS) had 22 points including 8-24 FG and 2-10 3-pointers, 8
assists, and 4 steals.
Monta Ellis (GS) had 25 points including 11-12 FG.
Al Harrington (GS) had 20 points and 3 steals.

Chi shot 35-48 FT and GS shot 19-21 FT.
Ben Gordon (Chi, sprained right wrist) and Kirk Hinrich (Chi, bruised

Andre Iguodala (Phi) had 25 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and 6 turnovers.
Thaddeus Young (Phi) had 11 points and 7 rebounds.
Andre Miller (Phi) had 21 points including 7-10 FT, 6 rebounds, and 7
assists.
Dorell Wright (Mia) had 16 points and 10 rebounds including 6 offensive.
Dwyane Wade (Mia) had 19 points on 5-17 FG and 9-11 FT, 6 rebounds, 9
assists, and 6 turnovers.
Phi shot 48.1% (37-77) FG and Mia shot 36.3% (29-80) FG.
Udonis Haslem (Mia, sprained left ankle), Shawn Marion (Mia), and Marcus
