Dallas re-signed Jerry Stackhouse to a 3 year, $21 million contract.

Houston signed Mike Harris to a non-guaranteed contract.

Memphis signed Orlando free agent Darko Milicic to a 3 year, $21 million
contract.

New Jersey re-signed Vince Carter to a 4 year, $61.8 million contract with
a 5th year at the team's option.

Portland signed Denver free agent Steve Blake to a 3 year, $12 million
contract with the 3rd year at the team's option.

Sacramento signed New Jersey free agent Mikki Moore to a 3 year, $18 
million contract with the 3rd year at the team's option.

Utah signed LA Clippers free agent Jason Hart to a 2 year, $5 million
contract.

New Orleans has reportedly reached a 4 year contract agreement with
Toronto free agent Morris Peterson.  The contract is expected to be signed
after Peterson returns from vacation.

Memphis released Alexander Johnson.

New Jersey released Clifford Robinson.

Adonal Foyle (GS) underwent an emergency appendectomy.

Portland 1st round draft pick (#24) Rudy Fernandez signed a 3 year
contract with DKV Joventut of Spain.  DKV said that they would not hinder
Fernandez if he decided to join the NBA in the future (the contract 
probably includes a buyout clause).

Larry Staverman died at age 70.  He was the Indiana Pacer's first coach 
(in the ABA) and played 5 seasons in the NBA from 58-59 to 63-64.
