Portland signed 1st round draft pick (#1) Greg Oden to a 2 year, $9,673,680 contract with 2 more years worth $12,121,764 at the team's option. Portland signed 2nd round draft picks (#37) Josh McRoberts and (#52) Taurean Green. New Orleans named Paul Pressey as an assistant coach. Utah released Derek Fisher as he wants to spend more time with his ill daughter.
