Elton Brand (LAC) suffered a ruptured left Achilles tendon.  He will
undergo surgery on the injury and then be out for a long while.

Golden State signed Dallas free agent Austin Croshere.

Golden State signed Kosta Perovic.

Houston re-signed Chuck Hayes.

New Orleans re-signed Jannero Pargo to a 2 year, $4 million contract with
the 2nd year at the player's option.

Minnesota released Troy Hudson after reaching a buyout agreement with
him.
