Washington named Sam Cassell and Randy Wittman as assistant coaches.  Wes
Unseld Jr. remains as an assistant (Randy Ayers and Phil Hubbard were not
retained).

Jonathan Tavernari (forward, BYU, junior) withdrew his name from the NBA
draft.
