News from October 13.

The NBA fined Gilbert Arenas (Was) $25,000 for failing to make himself
available to the media for interviews and Washington was fined a matching
$25,000 for failing to ensure that its players comply with NBA media
interview rules.

The LA Clippers exercised their 10-11 options for Eric Gordon and Al
Thornton.

Atlanta released Aaron Miles and Frank Robinson.

San Antonio released Dwayne Jones.
