Nicolas Batum (Por) is scheduled to undergo surgery on his right shoulder
on Friday to repair torn cartilage.  No timetable has been set for his
return.

Chicago exercised their 10-11 options for Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah.

Cleveland exercised their 10-11 option for J.J. Hickson.

New Orleans picked up their 10-11 option for Julian Wright.

Phoenix signed Jarron Collins.

Detroit released Deron Washington.

Orlando released Morris Almond.

The 2009-2010 regular season starts tonight!  Let the games begin!
