News from December 21.

The NBA named Kobe Bryant (LAL) and Dwight Howard (Orl) as Players of the
Week.  Bryant averaged 34.5 points and 5.5 rebounds as the Lakers went
4-0.  Howard averaged 17 points, 17.8 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks as Orlando
went 3-1.

San Antonio activated Marcus Haislip and placed Matt Bonner (broken bone
right hand) on IL.

Utah activated Kosta Koufas and placed Kyle Korver on IL.

Orlando activated Jameer Nelson and placed Adonal Foyle on IL.

Indiana activated Josh McRoberts and placed Jeff Foster on IL.

Jason Thompson (Sac) had 14 points and 7 rebounds.
Tyreke Evans (Sac) had 23 points and 8 rebounds.
Beno Udrih (Sac) had 16 points including 3-4 3-pointers.

Derrick Rose (Chi) had 24 points and 7 assists.
Sac came back to win after being down by 35 points early in the 3rd
quarter, including out-scoring Chi 33-10 in the 4th quarter.
