News from November 1.

The NBA named Pau Gasol (LAL) and Rajon Rondo (Bos) as Players of the
Week.  Gasol averaged 25.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 5 assists as the
Lakers went 3-0.  Rondo averaged 10.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 16.7
assists as Boston went 2-1.

Atlanta signed Al Horford to a 5 year, $60 million contract extension.

Minnesota picked up their 11-12 options for Michael Beasley, Kevin Love,
Kosta Koufos, Jonny Flynn, and Wayne Ellington.

San Antonio activated Tiago Splitter and placed Alonzo Gee on IL.

The LA Clippers activated Willie Warren and placed Baron Davis (sore left
knee) on IL.

Toronto activated Joey Dorsey and placed Marcus Banks on IL.
