Ron Artest (LAL) formally had his name changed to Metta World Peace.

Steve Javie retired after 25 years as an NBA ref due to an arthritic right
knee.  Ref Bob Delaney had also retired after a 25 years in the NBA [and
thus the league has lost 2 of their best refs].
