The 12-13 salary cap is $58.044 million and the luxury cap is $70.307 million (teams over that amount have to pay a dollar-for-dollar penalty for the amount they are over). The midlevel exception is $5 million (available to teams that under the luxury tax) and the mini-midlevel exception is $3.09 million (available to teams over the luxury tax). TRADE: Houston traded Kyle Lowery to Toronto for Gary Forbes and a future 1st round draft pick. TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, Houston re-signed Marcus Camby to a 3 year, $13 million contract and then traded him to New York for Toney Douglas, Josh Harrellson, Jerome Jordan, and 2 2nd round draft picks. TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, Orlando re-signed Ryan Anderson to a 4 year, $36 million contract and traded him to New Orleans for Gustavo Ayon. TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, Phoenix re-signed Steve Nash to a 3 year, $28 million contract and traded him to the LA Lakers for a 2013 1st round draft pick, a 2015 1st round draft pick, a 2013 2nd round draft pick, a 2014 2nd round draft pick, and $3 million cash. TRADE: Atlanta traded Marvin Williams to Utah for Devin Harris.
