News from July 11.

The July Moratorium has ended and teams can now start signing free agents.
The 12-13 salary cap is $58.044 million and the luxury cap is $70.307
million (teams over that amount have to pay a dollar-for-dollar penalty
for the amount they are over).  The midlevel exception is $5 million
(available to teams that under the luxury tax) and the mini-midlevel
exception is $3.09 million (available to teams over the luxury tax).

TRADE: Houston traded Kyle Lowery to Toronto for Gary Forbes and a future
1st round draft pick.

TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, Houston re-signed Marcus Camby to a 3 year,
$13 million contract and then traded him to New York for Toney Douglas,
Josh Harrellson, Jerome Jordan, and 2 2nd round draft picks.

TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, Orlando re-signed Ryan Anderson to a 4 year,
$36 million contract and traded him to New Orleans for Gustavo Ayon.

TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, Phoenix re-signed Steve Nash to a 3 year, $28
million contract and traded him to the LA Lakers for a 2013 1st round
draft pick, a 2015 1st round draft pick, a 2013 2nd round draft pick, a
2014 2nd round draft pick, and $3 million cash.

TRADE: Atlanta traded Marvin Williams to Utah for Devin Harris.

TRADE: In a sign-and-trade, the LA Clippers re-signed Reggie Evans to a 3
year, $5 million contract and traded him to Brooklyn for the rights to
swap 2nd round draft picks in 2016.

TRADE: In a 3-team trade, Philadelphia traded away the rights to Edin
Bavcic and received Darryl Watkins and Dorell Wright; New Orleans traded
away Darryl Watkins and Jarrett Jack and received the rights to Edin
Bavcic; and Golden State traded away Dorell Wright and received Jarrett
Jack.

TRADE: In a sign-and trade, Brooklyn re-signed DeShawn Stevenson and
traded him with Jordan Farmer, Johan Petro, Jordan Williams, Anthony
Morrow, and an 2017 2nd round draft pick for Joe Johnson.

Atlanta signed Philadelphia free agent Louis Williams to a 3 year
contract.

Brooklyn re-signed Deron Williams to a 5 year, $98 million contract.

Brooklyn re-signed Gerald Wallace to a 4 year, $40 million contract.

Brooklyn re-signed Brook Lopez to a 5 year, $61 million contract.

Brooklyn signed Mirza Teletovic to a 3 year, $9 million contract.

Brooklyn signed Jerry Stackhouse to a 1 year, minimum contract.

Chicago elected not to pick up their 12-13 options for Ronnie Brewer and
C.J. Watson, making them unrestricted free agents.

Cleveland re-signed Luke Harangody to a 1 year, $1.1 million contract (the
qualifying offer).

Cleveland free agent Semih Erden signed with Anadolu Efes of Turkey.

Denver re-signed Andre Miller to a 3 year contract.

Denver signed 1st round draft pick (#20) Evan Fournier to a 2 year,
$2,784,120 contract with 2 more years worth $3,772,125 at the team's
option.

Detroit signed 2011 2nd round draft pick (#33) Kyle Singler to a 3 year
contract.

The LA Clippers signed Blake Griffin to a 5 year, $95 million contract
extension.

The LA Clippers signed Portland free agent Jamal Crawford to a 3 year,
$15.7 million contract.

Miami signed Boston free agent Ray Allen to a 2 year, $6.1 million
contract.

Miami signed Rashard Lewis to a 2 year, minimum contract.

Milwaukee signed 2nd round draft pick (#42) Doran Lamb.

New York re-signed J.R. Smith to a 2 year, minimum contract.

New York signed James White.

Oklahoma City signed Portland free agent Hasheem Thabeet to a 2 year
contract.

Oklahoma City signed Hollis Thompson to a 3 year, minimum non-guaranteed
contract.  Thompson underwent surgery on his left groin and is out 3 to 4
weeks.

Orlando re-signed Jameer Nelson to a 3 year, $19.7 million contract.

Philadelphia re-signed Lavoy Allen.

Philadelphia used the amnesty clause and Elton Brand and released him.

Phoenix signed restricted free agent Eric Gordon to a 4 year, $58 million
offer sheet.  New Orleans has 3 days to match the offer.

Portland re-signed J.J. Hickson to a 1 year, $2.3 million contract.

Portland signed 1st round draft pick (#6) Damian Lillard to a 2 year,
$6,267,960 contract with 2 more years worth $7,577,207 at the team's
option.

Portland signed 1st round draft pick (#11) Meyers Leonard to a 2 year,
$4,348,680 contract with 2 more years worth $5,393,800 at the team's
option.

Portland signed 2009 1st round draft pick (#22) Victor Claver to a 2 year,
$2,603,520 contract with 2 more years worth $3,816,418 at the team's
option.

Portland released Shawne Williams.

Sacramento re-signed Jason Thompson to a 5 year, $30 million contract.

San Antonio re-signed Tim Duncan to a 3 year, $36 million contract.

San Antonio re-signed Danny Green to a 3 year, $12 million contract.

Toronto signed restricted free agent Landry Fields to a 3 year, $20
million offer sheet.  New York has 3 days to match the offer.

Utah re-signed Jeremy Evans to a 3 year, $5.5 million contract.
