News from August 12.

The NBA suspended P.J. Tucker (Pho) for 3 games for his guilty plea for
DWI.  The suspension will start with the start of the regular season.

Miami signed Reggie Williams to a 1 year, minimum contract.

Portland signed Diante Garrett to a non-guaranteed 2 year, minimum
contract.

The sale of the LA Clippers to Steve Ballmer for $2 billion became
official.
