News from June 30.

The LA Lakers extended qualifying offers to Jordan Clarkson, Tarik Black,
and Marcelo Huestas, making them restricted free agents.

Cleveland made an qualifying offer to Matthew Dellavedova, making him a
restricted free agent.

Brooklyn released Jarrett Jack.

Milwaukee released Damien Inglis and Johnny O'Bryant.

Salah Mejri (Dal) underwent surgery on his knee for minor cleaning.

The July Moratorium has started.  All 2015-16 contracts have officially
ended and 2016-17 contracts/salaries begun.  Teams may start negotiating
with free agents, but can not officially sign them or make trades until
the July Moratorium ends on July 7.  [A number of agreements have already
been announced (Friday morning), but I wait until the deals are signed to
report them.]
