He will miss at least the first 5 games of the season.
 
Minnesota re-signed Tom Gugliotta to a 5 year contract believed to be
worth $27 million.
 
Milwaukee re-signed Eric Murdock to a 1 year contract worth $1.5 million
with an option for a 2nd year.
 
Unrestricted free agent Willie Burton signed with Ambrasiano Milano of the
Italian League.  Burton played with Philadelphia last season.
 
Houston waived Ricky Blanton.
 
Cleveland waived Roderick Anderson and Charles Claxton.
