Chris Webber (Was) will be out 4 to 5 weeks with a separated shoulder.

Shaquille O'Neal (Orl) injured his right thumb during Tuesday's Orl-Mia
game.  There is possible ligament damage and he could be out up to 5
weeks.

Boston signed Charles Claxton.

Charlotte released Negele Knight.

Portland released Bob Thornton and Derrick Chievous.
