Dallas suspended without pay Tony Dumas for one game and fined him $1,000
for skipping Wednesday's practice.

Jamal Mashburn (Dal) suffered a fractured right check bone during last
night's Dal-LAC game.  He will undergo a CAT scan today and then a time
table for his return will be given.

With the loss to Dallas, Bill Fitch (coach LAC) obtained his 1,000 career
coaching loss.  Fitch has more career losses than any other NBA coach,
but he is also number 4 on the all-time win list with 897 wins and does
have a championship ring.
