The NBA named Glen Rice (Cha) as Player of the Month for February.  Rice
averaged 28.8 points including 38-67 3-pointers and 89% (85-96) FT, 3.5 
rebounds, and 2.5 assists as Charlotte went 10-3 in February.
 
The NBA named Shareef Abdur-Rahim (Van) as Rookie of the Month for 
February.  Abdur-Rahim averaged 25.5 points while shooting 52% FG and
73% FT and 8.2 rebounds.
 
The NBA named Doug Collins (Det) as Coach of the Month for February.
Detroit went 10-3 in February.
 
The NBA named Loy Vaught (LAC) as Player of the Week. Vaught averaged 21.3
points including 38-63 FG and 11.3 rebounds as the Clippers went 3-1.
 
Chicago placed Toni Kukoc on IR with a sprained right foot.
 
Houston signed Eddie Johnson for the rest of the season.
 
Houston activated Clyde Drexler and placed Brent Price on IR with a torn
right ACL.
