The NBA named Kevin Johnson (Pho) as Player of the Week.  Johnson averaged
27.5 points including 12-25 3-pointers and 30-31 FT and 7.3 assists as 
Phoenix went 4-0.

Dallas released Jamie Watson.

Dallas signed Stevin Smith to a 2nd 10-day contract.

Bill Wennington (Chi) will miss the rest of the regular season with a torn
plantar fascia tendon in his left foot.

Houston placed Sam Mack on IR and activated Charles Jones.
