Robert Pack (Dal) suffered a torn ligament in his right thumb during
practice Thursday and is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair it on
February 1.  He will then be out 6 to 8 weeks.

Orlando activated Derek Strong and placed Jason Lawson on IR with a
strained groin.

Chicago placed Joe Kleine on IR with tendinitis in his left knee and 
activated Bill Wennington.

Indiana activated Mark West and placed Etdrick Bohannon on IR with a
strained abdominal muscle and pulled groin.
