Erick Strickland (Dal) suffered sprained ligaments in his right ankle
during Wednesday's Dal-Van game and will be out 6 weeks.

Cleveland restructured Shawn Kemp's contract and signed him to a 7 year,
rumored $107 million contract.  [I couldn't find details as to how the
restructuring works and when the new contract kicks in.  It's also been 
described as an extension, but that probably means that a couple years 
were added with the restructuring - Kemp was signed through 2003.]

Cleveland released Jerome Allen, Adrian Caldwell, and Sherrell Ford.

Toronto named Butch Carter as an assistant coach.
