TRADE: New York traded Charles Oakley, the rights to Sean Marks (#44), and
cash to Toronto for Marcus Camby.
 
TRADE: Chicago traded the rights to Shammond Williams (#34) to Atlanta for
the rights to Cory Carr (#49), the better of Indiana's or Detroit's 1999
2nd round pick, and Atlanta's 2000 2nd round pick.

The NBA announced that Golden State will host the 2000 All-Star game.
