TRADE: It was a major three team, 9 player trade where Minnesota traded away Stephon Marbury, Chris Carr, Bill Curley, and Paul Grant and received Terrell Brandon, Brian Evans, and 1 or 2 New Jersey 1st round draft picks*; New Jersey traded away Sam Cassell, Chris Gatling, Brian Evans, 1 or 2 1st round draft picks* and received Stephon Marbury, Bill Curley, Elliot Perry, and Chris Carr; and Milwaukee traded away Terrell Brandon and Elliot Perry and received Sam Cassell, Chris Gatling, and Paul Grant. *Minnesota has until April 1 to decided whether they will receive New Jersey's 1999 1st round draft pick (unprotected) or New Jersey's 1999 1st round draft pick (top 3 protected) and New Jersey's 2003 1st round draft pick.
