The NBA fined Larry Johnson (NY) $10,000 and fined New York a matching
$10,000 for Johnson's failure to make himself available to the media
following practices on Friday and Sunday.

The NBA announced the All-NBA teams.  The teams were selected, by 
position, by 118 media members who were asked to select a first team 
(worth 5 points), a second team (3 points), and a third team (1 point).  
Karl Malone (Uta) was named to his 11th All-NBA First Team, setting the 
NBA record for most times being named to the All-NBA First Team.  Kareem
Abdul-Jabbar, Elgin Baylor, Bob Cousy, Michael Jordan, Bob Pettit, and
Jerry West had been named to 10 All-NBA First Teams.
