Floyd was signed to a 5 year, rumored $8 million contract. He coached the past 4 seasons for Iowa State. Chicago has said that if Phil Jackson does not resume the head coaching job by the end of the lockout then Floyd will be the new Chicago head coach. Jackson has previous stated and reiterated that he will not coach the Bulls. Team USA reduced the roster for the World Championship tournament to 12 players. Earl Boykins, Tim Breaux, and Trajan Langdon did not make the final roster.
