The NBA named Chris Webber (Sac) as Player of the Week.  Webber averaged
27 points and 10.5 rebounds as Sacramento went 2-0.

Chicago activated Randy Brown, placed Fred Hoiberg on IR with a strained
left quad, and released Kornel David.

Golden State activated Mookie Blaylock and released Jamel Thomas.
