Phoenix signed Jason Kidd to a 1 year, $11 million contract extension.  
The extra year, which is for 2003-04, is at Kidd's option.
 
Anfernee Hardaway (Pho) underwent arthroscopic surgery in his left knee 
to remove loose cartilage.
