News from August 25.

Chicago signed Will Perdue to a reported 2 year, $7 million contract.  The
second year is at the team's option.

Chicago also signed Cory Carr, second round draft pick Lari Ketner, and
Brett Robisch.

San Antonio signed Samaki Walker to a 2 year, $5.67 million contract with
a 3rd year at the team's option worth $3.24 million.  Walker was signed to
the Spurs' $2.7 million injury exception that they received for Sean
Elliott.

Sean Elliott (SA) was released from the hospital and continues to do well.
It will be at least 2 months before it is known whether or not he will be
able to resume his basketball career.
