Home Page Suppose that you just downloaded an exciting new control panel. You want to install it by dropping it into your System Folder, but the root folder of your hard disk is buried under several open windows. Are you going to waste minutes while looking for it? Another example. You just got from your colleague that document you needed. You have it right on your desktop, but the application you want to open it with is many folders down in your hard disk. How many windows will you need to open before finding it? In these and many other cases, you can rely on Send To CM. From now on, your preferred applications and folders are just a control-click away. Send To CM will add a "Send To" menu to the Finder's contextual menus, which will give you access to a list of applications, Applescripts, folders and disks that you can freely customize and organize.
Have you ever wanted your computer to read your e-mail to you? Have you noticed that reading a paper out loud helps to find mistakes? Speak Text CM will speak the selected text in any program. Speak Text CM is not an INIT, but is a Contextual Menu plugin, so it should not cause any conflicts.
Home Page StuffCM is a contextual menu plugin that works with Aladdin Systems' StuffIt Engine. It can stuff, unstuff, convert, and BinHex files directly in the Finder through the contextual menu commands. As of version 2.1 it can switch between using the 5.x or 4.x engines to stuff files. This goes a long way in making the latest version of Stuffit more usable.
Home Page These are MacOS 8 Contextual Menu Manager plug-ins. When you control-click on Finder files and folders, these plug-ins add new commands to the contextual popup menu that appears. The plug-ins do things like move and copy files, launch applications, convert text files, set types and creators, etc. There is also a very nifty little module that makes it very simple to make files and folders invisible (hide/undohide).
Home Page TypesChange CM Plugin is a Contextual Menu Manager plugin which lets you change files' type and creator codes easily and quickly.
