Brian Rachford's observing reports
For now, I'm just putting up the reports that I posted to the
Usenet group sci.astro.amateur, but that pretty much covers
most things I did over the past 10 years. I've also listed
the primary focus (or foci) of the observing session, although
I may have been doing other stuff as well. I'm working on converting
all of the reports to a standardized HTML-based form.
The deep-sky observations before 2002 were with 7x50 binocs
and/or a 60mm refractor. I recommissioned an old good-quality
6" Newtonian in October 2002.
Here is a key to some of the
terms and descriptions I use in the reports.
