In his H.P.O. column, Will Keller continues illustrating the cachets used on first trip covers of HPOs. this time, his subject is HPO #1, Washington DC & Harrisonburg VA. Keller also presents an analysis of a special delivery cover sent from a small Pennsylvania town to a station of the New York City post office, intended for a passenger on a departing steam ship. In the R.F.D. column, Guy Purington discusses four very special RFD covers he acquired over the summer. In his street car RPO column, David Gentry shows two street car covers to very scarce foreign destinations. There is news of the society's elections and more!
