The Fall, 2020 issue of Mobile Post Office Society's journal
"Transit Postmark Collector" is in the mail to members.

In this issue:

  • Stan Bednarczyk writes in "News from the Cities" of the discovery
    of covers that originated on Chicago Streetcar RPOs and which were
    damaged in a wreck and fire on the 20th Century Limited.

  • The regular column, "Topically TPO" focuses on the Traveling Post Offices
    of Russia.

  • Cary Johnson details a cover that was posted without postage on a Streetcar.

  • Four full pages illustrate 94 postmarks from previously uncatalogued lines
    or unlisted varieties that have been newly reported.

  • The members only mail auction features 132 lots, closing November 10.

  • Seven new members are welcomed to the Society, and the passing of
    former members Tony Goodbody and Joseph Palombit are sadly noted.
