Announcing an internet auction of the Robert A. Truax street car collection. July, 2011.

The latest TPC has an announcement of the next sale, but members may not have received it as yet.

This is perhaps the most outstanding street car R.P.O. collection in existence, begun back in the days when great street car covers were in the nickel and dime boxes.

The first sale was held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 22, 23 and 24. The next sale starts October 7. Lotting has been done by David Gentry, Douglas Clark and Nancy Clark. The lots are now up on the web site: FBA Auctions

Online bidding can only be done on the site, by first registering.

Persons without email or residing outside the USA cannot register, but any MPOS member may bid through the usual MPOS auction procedure, by contacting David Gentry by email or telephone David at (610) 383-9460.

A portion of the commissions paid by successful bidders in this auction will go to our society.
