I have been a licensed massage therapist since 1994, practicing on a full-time basis since 1995. I have also been an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) since 1994. My work is a blend of Swedish massage, for relaxation, and Deep Tissue massage, for muscle-specific, focused work. I have taken numerous workshops over the years, and draw on various modalities for my own unique, cumulative style.

I received my training at Brian Utting School of Massage, an AMTA-COMTAA accredited school located in Seattle, Washington. One of the premiere massage therapy schools in the Pacific Northwest, the BUSM mission is "to produce outstanding massage practitioners with a greater sense of their humanity."

Each massage session is client-oriented. Depending on client needs, the focus can be on relaxation and stress reduction, or specific injuries or concerns, or both. Although many people enjoy the deep muscle relief of the Deep Tissue work, the health benefits of relaxation massage shouldn't be overlooked:

Rates:
  • 1 hour - $60.00, if paid at time of service, or $70.00, if billed to auto insurance*
  • 1 1/2 hours - $80.00, if paid at time of service

* If you have been in a car accident and have a doctor's or chiropractor's prescription for massage therapy, I can bill 1-hour treatments to your automobile insurance through your Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage. I am not, however, contracted to work with any health insurance plan as a preferred provider. If your insurance company allows you to utilize non-contracted providers, I can work with you, provided that you have a doctor's referral. You would pay me at time of service, and then submit the paperwork for reimbursement from your insurance company.
