The new Delaware State Penitentiary, c. 1992
When I was attending Fairview High School in Boulder from 1984-1987, there was a legend that our school had been designed by someone who usually designs prisons. Imagine my surprise when I had a look at the new Delaware State Penitentiary! Except for the security fence around its perimeter and the addition of some extra windows, it looks almost exactly like Fairview.
May 1991: My sister Beth is on the left and Kris is on the right.
Kris Coulter, the love of my life. I took this picture of her at the Detroit (well, Romulus :-) Airport at the end of my May 1994 visit to see her. We finally married on 3 Jan 1996 at Fiske Planetarium, just days before the sixth anniversary of our engagement.
Here we are at her 1992 graduation from Colorado College. She was fighting bronchitis all the way through it and I ended up with an even worse strain a month later. Talk about paying your dues...
We visited Kennedy Space Center in December 1994 and ever since she's been mumbling about becoming a shuttle biomedical mission specialist.
Here we are at Delray Beach, Florida in December 1994. (Her grandmother lives in town.) Thanks to Dirk Loedding for the superb handling of the camera.
On the left is my Colin Baker costume from high school days. (I also had my age 18 driver's license photo taken in this outfit.) With some reworking to fit the larger frame (and some squeezing to fit into the same motley coat), I resumed the role with Colin Baker and Sophie Aldred at the first Brittanicon.
Cleo poses with me in my 1992 Dr. Hannibal Lecter costume. Hey, I don't do just science fiction-themed costumes, you know! (BTW, those are "Lecter for President" 1992 campaign buttons I'm wearing.)
"Commander Riker, report to the bridge."
(My age 21 driver's license photo was taken in this outfit.) One of these days, I might even upload a picture of me in my Spock costume c. 1974.
