Source of Her Name

Aurora was named for two different things, actually. Her satiny black fur, and the mottled patch on her side, bright to mind the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights. Her speed, agility, curiosity and general precociousness also made me think of the rumored ultra classified super-stealth Aurora aircraft, that all the UFO and military aircraft geeks seem to believe is being flown out of Area 51.
