Source of Her Name

While both of the dumbos are quite playful, Daria has always been just a little more aloof than her sister. She also didn't put up with much crap from the older rats when she was introduced, jockeying for Alpha position (and failing) quite frequently. As such, it seemed appropriate to name her after one of our guiltier pleasures, the MTV cartoon character Daria. (And yes, when I call her name, I often do it in the style of Helen Morgendorfer.)
