Source of His Name

Given that we brought home Ford and Zaphod a few hours after Arthur, it made sense to keep going on the same theme. Ford was such a spaz right from the get-go, and so liked to provoke dangerous situations in playful ways, that it seemed perfectly appropriate to name him after The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy's Ford Prefect.
