China 1999

This is my experience in China in the Summer of 1999. If you came to this webpage first, it's better if you start from the beginning of the story. 7/23/99 Hong Kong Skyline at Night This is the Hong Kong Island skyline around 11pm as seen from Kowloon near the Star Ferry terminal. I think the picture came out pretty well. The building with the half oval of yellowish light in right center of the picture is the new Hong Kong Convention Center. The hotel where I was staying is located right across the street from this convention center. While in Hong Kong, I attended a book fair and two computer conventions (ICE and Digital World) at the HK convention center. I just happen to be in the right place at the right time.
