How to do a tail stand check (Checking from bottom) Vertical
Grab the tailstand lifting it up so that it is vertical.
Putting your foot on the bottoms pushing slightly to check the spikes are not flat
Checking the bottom tube for any dents
Looking to see that both self-leveling have fluid, not broken
Checking the bolt to see if it connected
Checking the top tube if it has no dents
Grabbing the side pulling all the way down min of three times
Using the wheel to move it to check the top rubber cap

A-10 Tail stand is Inspected/Checked
The Cap: Check the soft plastic cap on the tip of the Tail stand.
Both levels: Make sure they still have fluid as well as they move
Wheels: No obvious damage
Base screw positioning and baseplate: Ensure that the base screw is lowered to by touching the baseplate
Upper section: Check for any dent on the tube. Compress and release 3X (Checking to see if the spring works). To ensure that the upper section moves freely and the leveling spring works correctly
Tag it out if damaged

DOWNLOADING THE AIRCRAFT

Have the button and light facing towards the front for the lead to be able to see
Grabbing the headphone jack wire moving it to over the flap, pulling it over the power panel
Connecting it to the flight input. (flight for flight deck, while service is serving the whole flight)
If the flight is an 800/900 MAX there is an interior flight jack input.

Check the equipment for any issues or defects
On the taxi line do a huddle to see what the download looks like, place chocks depending on series of the aircraft
Once finished do a tail stand check, check COS (circle of safety) for FOD or obstruction
-3 min from when the plane to arrive at gate be prepared to Marshell the plane into the gate
Stop traffic with a X using the wands
Looking for the signal to bring the plane in the gate (can be a thumbs up, movement of wands)
Once the aircraft passes you start following the wing of the aircraft until it makes a complete stop.
When the plane is stopped the three things to look for when the aircraft is safe to enter the circle of safety would be
The red beacon light on the underbelly of the plane is no longer blinking.
Signal from the lead that it is clear to enter
Engine as spooled down
Check that the nose wheel is chocked
Place the cone 3ft or using your one arm points up at the furthest point of the wing tip placing it with the other arm stretched out at a 90 Degree angle.
Grabbing the other cone moving to the back of the aircraft looking for damage placing the other cone 3ft or using your one arm points up at the furthest point of the back placing it with the other arm stretched out at a 90 Degree angle.
Open the AFT cargo door for the power-stow
Walking to the power stow grabbing the tail stand (already had it inspection during this time) hook up the tail stand. Making sure that all the areas are withing the green. A total of 3 areas to check. Both self-leveling and turning the handles until reaching thick green line
Either need to head into the AFT pit to download the flight or walk to the Tug drive it the power stow. Make sure to follow the 15 and 5.
Once done with moving the tug, stack the carts with only Locals or Cargo
Download procedures for choking the front Wheel
Check the equipment for any issues or defects
On the taxi line do a huddle to see what the download looks like, place chocks depending on series of the aircraft
Once finished do a tail stand check, check COS (circle of safety) for FOD or obstruction
-3 min from when the plane arrives at the gate be prepared to be at the front to the right waiting for the plane to park.
Once the plane is parked, make sure that it is no longer moving.
Looking at the safe dock to see the STOP in red bold letters, along with the lead showing the X,
Once the bold RED STOP along with lead having the x. Allowed to walk into the circle of safety. (This is the only time you can enter the circle of safety)
Moving the chocks to either side of the wheels.
Once placed on either side of the wheel walk back outside

Either need to head into the AFT pit to download the flight or walk to the Tug drive it the power stow. Make sure to follow the 15 and 5.
Once done with moving the tug, stack the carts with only Locals or Cargo

Reliability Pay
Team members who fully work their bid schedule (or apply PTO for all missed time equaling their bid schedule) during the pay period are eligible to earn an additional $3.00 per hour over their base hourly wage for that pay period. Team members who bid on a line that is less than a 40-hour/week schedule are eligible if they fully work their bid schedule.
Team members must not accrue ANY points under the Attendance Policy duringthe pay period.
Team members must be on the active payroll in a permanent position at the beginning and the end of a pay period
Team members who work fewer hours than their fully-bid schedule per pay period for any of the following reasons will not be eligible for reliability pay during that pay period.
Team members on OJI who are out for the entire pay period on time loss
Team members on OJI who refuse modified duty offered in alignment with the restrictions and voluntary choose to not accept the working hours
Team members on approved leave (Personal, FMLA, Military leave) for an entire pay period
Team members who received a suspension as a step of progressive discipline or as the result of a safety/security infraction issued by SEATAC Airport or any other airport entity during the pay period.
Team members who for any reason work less than their full scheduled time during the pay period and/or do not apply for PTO for all the missed time.
ALL scheduled time must be accounted in full for the following reasons
Worked hours
PTO (pre-planned or called out per the attendance policy)
Approved LOA Hours
Approved Leave Via HR (Human resources)
Schedule Bidding
Bidding is used to adjust Alaska flight schedule every 3 Months or 4 times a year
Based on the seniority of the individual compared to the others within the job title
For example, leads with leads, ramper with rampers etc.
Team members who are unable to attend a bid meeting will be given a bid at the end of the bidding cycle. (This is based off the remaining unselected schedules)
Unable to rebid once bids are finished, all bids are final at the close of the bid cycle
Extra Shift
Done on the roster App (The link is on the AAG portal)
Extra Shifts are listed on the trade board section of the roster app and will be posted by the call center
Clicking on the “Claim” button will pick up the shift will move you to the next page to verify your information. The shift can be denied if it conflicts with the Overtime Safety Policy explained below.
Domino Bidding
This can happen occasionally be offered to fill shifts that the operation needs to fill.
If the bid is awarded to you, it will replace the current schedule that you have.
Domino bid is an option only bid if you want the bids offered.
Overtime Safety Policy 12/3/2021
Team members cannot work more than two 16 scheduled hour shifts/15 worked hours. This includes a 1-hour lunch for working a 16-hour shift. The third day must be a 10.5 hour worked shift. This will include a 30min lunch break
Team members must have at least 8 hours between the start and end of a shift
Team members cannot work more than 16hours in a 24hour period.
Team members cannot work more than 6 consecutive days
Attendance will be an ongoing 12-month cycle
Attendance reliability is tracked separately from the performance deficiencies
After receiving a written warning upon accuring 6 points every additional 6 points receives an additional discipliner action up to termination at 24 points
During the period of probationary time a NCNS can lead straight to termination

SIDA Badge
A Lost, Missing or Stolen SIDA badge must be reported to HR/Admin or any station leadership immediately
There is a 48-hour waiting period before you can purchase a replacement badge
Team members are responsible for the cost of acquiring a replacement badge
Team members must return their SIDA badge upon separation of employment
First Time 250 fine, second time 500 fine, third time would be a termination
Uniform
The expected uniform to be worn always is the clothes provided to you
Reburied to ear McGee Shirts, Black/Blue pants, Black/Brown shoes
NO JEANS, SWEATS, LEGGINGS, ETC
Full McGee uniform is required to be worn while working on the ramp
Mcgee/Alaska and Port of Seattle Rules
Smoking and vaping are prohibited within the (D) annex and on the ramp area.
The use of earbuds and EarPods is not allowed on the ramp.
Instances of time theft or employees going missing from their work area will be addressed and subject to appropriate action.
The use of Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) while driving on the ramp is strictly prohibited.
It is mandatory to (Wear a seatbelt at all times) while driving.
Employees must be in their McGee uniform while on the timeclock and on the ramp. You must be at their designated gate on time and collaborate effectively with your team while working on the flight.
Sleeping while you are on duty is strictly prohibited.
Engaging in physical altercations or harassing others is prohibited on theramp and within the Company.
All individuals must carry their Port of Seattle badge, and driver's license with them at all times while on the ramp.
Please adhere to all safety regulations and avoid any violations.
