Procedure to format DW0: (10MB ST-412 RD51 Winchester disk)     18-Mar-1998

Boot a RT-11 system on DZn:, preferably V5.01C or higher. Use the auto
install disk, but it will not work if write-protected.  When it exits to the
dot prompt, proceed with manual instructions below.  It won't install the DW:
driver.  The version of FORMAT.SAV must be V5.13 (27-Jul-84, comes with RT-11
V5.01C) or higher, otherwise it won't recognize DW: as a valid device.

If DW: driver installed or loaded, remove and/or unload it. One may specify
the /NOQUERY switch to avoid the "Are you sure?" query.  The /BAD switch may
be specified to check for bad blocks.
