Thanks anyway for all the support - or whatever you might call those nasty
notes I've got...it REALLY HELPED A LOT!

Oh No! I really hate to see this happen. Andrea, you need to ventilate
your feelings. Your feelings are yours and anyone in your position would
feel them, at least in the beginning and at some times.
I admire the people on this list. They are living full lives and seem to be
coping well. They support each other and understand each other.
you have a different perspective than they do. I am a nurse that cares
clients on vents. I also have a different perspective than the people on
the list. We have not walked their walk. I am forever offending someone on
the list, also and not meaning to.
Frankly , in my own experiences ,I have found your anger much more common
than their optimism. I wish I had clients with their attitudes. Anger and
rage can get very wearing on everyone.
I think it's great that Mandy is going trick or treat! What is really the
difference if she rides or runs? ( I have often thought it would just be
easier to just give my kids the candy I buy for the other trick or
treaters........They seem to feel THAT WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE :)
You need support not condemnation! You can e-mail privately if you wish. i
hope you keep airing your feelings to some one who can take it. it doesn't
sound like you have anyone like that now.
I just have simple advice. Take all the pleasures that life has to offer
and enjoy life to the fullest in the all the things you can. Turn your
burden over to God. Don't let stupid people get under your skin.
