Other geologists dispute the origin of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.m.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bermuda_Pedestal\">Bermuda Pedestal<\/a>&nbsp;as a volcanic hotspot.<sup class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.m.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Great_Sound#cite_note-SI-2\">[2]<\/a><\/sup><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-2 mt-6 text-lg first:mt-3\">Key Personnel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeff Causey\u2019s experience in Bermuda during the 35th America\u2019s Cup differed significantly from his first campaign in San Francisco with Oracle Team USA. In San Francisco, the team operated out of a cold, poorly lit warehouse and faced challenging windy conditions daily, creating an intense and gritty atmosphere. By contrast, in Bermuda, the team worked from a modern, clean base in a sunny, relaxed environment. While San Francisco\u2019s tough conditions contributed to their victory, the easier lifestyle in Bermuda may have impacted focus, as the team ultimately did not succeed<a class=\" mr-[2px] citation ml-xs inline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ineosbritannia.com\/en\/moving-parts\/260_Meet-Britannia-s-Boat-Captain-Jeff-Causey.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SailGP was founded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eskimo.com\/~mighetto\/murrelet\/Wordpress\/archives\/770\">Larry Ellison<\/a> and Russell Coutts, who were principal figures in the 2013 and 2017 America&#8217;s Cup campaigns<a class=\"citation ml-xs inline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sailmagazine.com\/racing\/sailgp-bermuda-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">4<\/a>. For example, Ben Ainslie, who was involved in the America&#8217;s Cup, became a key figure in SailGP with the British team<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"citation ml-xs inline\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SailGP\">3<\/a>.
