Clearly, weather patterns are changing but they aren&#8217;t changing in a globally consistent manner.<\/p>\n<p>In Alaska and the northern hemisphere in general; it&#8217;s hard to believe it&#8217;s all global warming.  I talked to a fisherman that fishes off of Sitka, seeing 60\u00b0F water temperatures when they are below 40\u00b0F here in the Puget Sound.  I suspect under water volcanic activity.<\/p>\n<p>Heat doesn&#8217;t flow from colder to hotter, there has to be a heat source local to that area under water.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I found this post by dave b and the calculations contained therein to be interesting.
